Maple Leafs Trade Timothy Liljegren to San Jose Sharks

The Toronto Maple Leafs have took care of the Timothy Liljegren saga, after numerous rumours, he has finally been traded on Wednesday evening.

It was announced tonight that the Toronto Maple Leafs have traded defensemen Timothy Liljegren to the San Jose Sharks in exchange for Matt Penning, a 3rd round pick and a sixth round pick.

Liljegren, 25, finally gets an opportunity at a rebuilding San Jose team.
