Illness Bug Flies Around Leafs’ Locker Room

The Toronto Maple Leafs may need to wash their hands more often, as an illness seems to be flying around the Leafs dressing room, with first John Tavares catching the bad end of the stick and now winger William Nylander has caught it, causing him to miss practice this morning.

As the Toronto Maple Leafs prepare for a Wednesday tilt versus the LA Kings, it was announced by many news reporters that William Nylander was absent from Leafs’ morning skate, and is deemed questionable for Wednesday as per head coach Craig Berube.

“Craig Berube said there is a bug going through the Leafs room that kept William Nylander out of practice. “Hopefully, we’ll see,” Berube said of whether Nylander plays tomorrow.”

Tavares, was the first man down, who missed Saturday night’s home opener versus the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Leafs won that game 4-2 in a convincing victory. Now William Nylander is going through an apprerant sickness, which can be a huge blow for the trendy Leafs.

The bright side to this? The Leafs aren’t losing man games to serious injuries (fingers crossed), instead, minor illnesses will be their Achillies heal to begin this long NHL season.
