Bruins’ David Pastrnak Extends Point Streak To 12 Games

Although the Boston Bruins haven’t had the season that many expected, David Pastrnak continues to impress with his elite offense. Pastrnak extended his point streak last night to 12 games despite the Bruins loss to the New York Rangers. During this span Pastrnak has recorded 25 points, 11 goals and 14 assists.

This hot streak for David Pastrnak has brought his season totals to 67 points, most on the Bruins and tied for sixth most across the league. His 28 goals are the most by a Bruin this season and are tied for the sixth most in the NHL. His 39 assists also lead Boston this season.

Mixed into this point streak was a hat-trick, the 18th of his career. This point streak is just one glimpse of what Pastrnak is capable of as he has already established himself as one of the top producers on offense in the league. This streak also puts him in good position to record his third consecutive 100 point season after finishing the past two seasons with 110 and 113 points.

Even despite Pastrnak’s  production, the Bruins find themselves outside of a wildcard spot with a record of 27-23-6. If Pastrnak continues his level of play, maybe this can spark the offense and result in a much needed playoff push down the stretch.
