Brian Wilde: I Expect Big Improvements in January

Brian Wilde joined the Sick Podcast with Tony Marinaro last night and suggested to Tony that this may well be the low point in Montreal’s rebuild, and that the club will look better in the New Year.

“If you’re looking at a five-year rebuild, and you look at 16 games in that. It’s not that surprising that it goes down before it goes back up,” said Wilde. “It’s just not a linear process. It’s just magnified because it’s the first 16. But I expect In January that you’re going to see big improvements. Dach will be more ready to play. This young D will have another 40 games under their belt. Laine returns. I expect this is the low right now in this entire rebuild. Even this moment might be because they could win their next one.”
