BREAKING: Joseph Woll Expected to Return Versus Berube’s Former Team

A lot of storylines fall tonight, as Craig Berube hosts his former team where he won the cup with in 2019, the St. Louis Blues, and as they look to get the crucial victory, it seems like goaltender Joseph Woll is ready to return.

TSN’s Darren Dreger announced this morning that Leafs rookie goaltender Joseph Woll is ready to return after missing some time due to injury.

“There’s a decent chance Joseph Woll returns and starts for the Leafs tonight as Toronto hosts the Blues on TSN. Craig Berube faces his former club for the first time. Can the Leafs rebound from Tuesdays dud? Quality storylines tonight.”

Woll, suffered a high ankle sprain in December, and then suffered another injury during game six versus the Boston Bruins back in April. The goaltender did not participate in training camp, and only started joining the Leafs for practice as of this week.

While nothing is confirmed, that is the expectation and we should find out more ahead of the Leafs’ morning skate in the coming hours.
